What we offer to our customers:
We connect travelers with museums, attractions, tours, and other activities that meet the basic eligibility requirements to be listed on the Tiqets platform. Based on our data-driven experience in the market, and to make sure our customers make the most of their experiences, this is what we seek in the products published on our platform:
- Online ticketing: Customers can show their voucher on their phone, no printing is required.
- Complete booking experience: We want to prevent our customers from needing to communicate with suppliers post-sale (e.g. to confirm timeslots or pick-up points, or by creating an account on the supplier’s official website).
- Cut-off time: We have a maximum cut-off time of one day. This means that if your product needs two or more days in advance to guarantee a booking confirmation, it will not be listed on Tiqets.
- Fixed-price tickets: Same price per ticket (we currently don’t support degressive pricing (e.g. one ticket costs €10; two tickets cost €18)).
We also use the categories listed below to group experiences together, as well as in our search functionality and for specific curated pages. Products that do not match any of these categories may be rejected if they are unsuitable for the Tiqets platform. We suggest you check these guidelines before submitting a new product to be added to Tiqets.
Amusement Parks: Venues with varied attractions, such as rides and games, as well as other events for entertainment purposes, water parks included. Some examples of this type of product are Tivoli Gardens in Denmark, Disneyland in France, and Gardaland in Italy.
Entertainment: Tiqets supports shows repeating at least three times a week for a regular period of time (e.g. dance shows, concerts, theater productions) by selling general admission tickets. Some examples are the Flamenco Show at Triana Theater in Spain or a Traditional Fado Concert in Portugal. The admission tickets can be paired with seat group selection, however, currently the Tiqets platform does not support specific seat selection.
Museums & Galleries: These can be housed in a historical building, castle or palace, but should fall in this category if the main attraction is a museum. Some examples are the Van Gogh Museum, the Louvre Museum, or New York’s Museum of Modern Art.
Sightseeing Cruises: Tiqets supports day sightseeing cruise tickets that are valid at every stop or that transport travelers from A to B. Tiqets can fully support singular transportation lines, but multiples lines and timetables are not fully supported yet. Perfect examples are the Amsterdam Canal Cruises, Paris’ Sightseeing Cruise on the Seine, or London’s Thames Cruise.
Transport: We support transport between two defined locations, as well as one-way and round-trip tickets supported within the same product. We support transport between multiple locations when a fixed-price ticket can be used all day (to and from any location). Examples are public transport cards, hotel transfers from the airport, cable cars, or the above mentioned hop-on hop-off bus services (seat selection not available). Find some examples in Venice Public Transport, Barcelona’s Airport Aerobús, and Montjuic’s Cable Car.
Zoos & Aquariums: Tiqets accepts venues that comply with the Five Freedoms, the internationally accepted standards of care that affirm every living being's right to humane treatment, and where animals are guaranteed: Good Health, Good Feeding, Good Housing, Freedom of Expression, and Protection from Fear. Examples: Oceanogràfic of Valencia, the London Zoo, or the Palma Aquarium.
